With just under 4 weeks til opening night, rehearsals are well on their way for Puccini’s gorgeous and heart-breaking love story, “La Boheme.”
Bath Opera are taking the production on tour to venues around the region and over the Severn in June and July.
Tour dates are:

- June 29 – Beaufort Theatre, Ebbw Vale
- June 30 – Blakehay Theatre, Weston-super-Mare
- July 5 – Great Chalfield Manor, Wiltshire
- July 6 – Great Chalfield Manor, Wiltshire
- July 13 – Rondo Theatre, Bath
- July 14 – Rondo Theatre, Bath

The music is totally irresistible and the tragic romance is beautifully portrayed by Julia O’Connor as Mimi and Luke Daniel as Rodolfo, while I get to enjoy some feisty scenes with Anthony Sanchez-Harris, who plays Marcello.
If you’ve never seen it before, be sure to have a tissue at the ready. It’s a tear-jerker.
