Thanks, Yatton

Last Saturday’s concert hosted by Yatton Music Society was an evening of musical pick ‘n’ mix.

There were classic songs from the shows, like “I could have danced all night” and “Somewhere over the Rainbow”, alongside a few familiar operatic arias and art-songs in German and French, and even some unaccompanied folk songs.

I was delighted to be joined by Jonathan Price, who accompanied me on the piano and also treated us to two organ solos, which added to the variety of the evening.

My thanks to the Music Society for inviting me to sing, and to the audience, whose warmth and enthusiasm made the evening so enjoyable.
